Jenks Out of Darkness Walk

The Jenks/Tulsa Out of Darkness Walk is a community walk that raises funds for the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention (AFSP). We join with hundreds of cities across the country, to bring this mental health movement, which began in 2004.

These events give people the courage to open up about their own connections to the cause, and a platform to create a culture that’s smarter about mental health. Friends, family members, neighbors and coworkers walk side-by-side, supporting each other and in memory of those we’ve lost. 

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting the Out of Darkness Walk at the Jenks Riverwalk, 300 Riverwalk Terrace, Jenks, OK. The event will take place September 25th, 2021 from 10 am – 12 pm. We will have many vendors with mental health resources, live music by Hallow Music, face and rock painting, Comfort Canines, free She Brews Coffee, special guest speakers, and much more.
