Small Business Success Series: Tools for Protecting Your Business

The Jenks Chamber’s next Small Business Success Series will share with attendees the many tools available to protect their small businesses.

At the Sept. 28 event, Sharon Bertram and Jeff Coffman with Compass Consulting will share how policies and procedures can protect businesses from HR risks, IT and financial risks.

Bertram has more than 40 years of experience in accounting and auditing, including 25 years in internal audit and several years in accounting. Coffman has more than 15 years’ experience in auditing, including eight years as an internal auditor and several years as a business analyst.

The noon luncheon will take place at The Hive, 115 S. First St. in Jenks. Cost to attend is $20 for chamber members and $30 for non-members. The deadline to RSVP is Friday, Sept. 24.
