November Monthly Luncheon, featuring Karen Keith

Wednesday, November 16, 2022 (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) (CST)

Description

The Jenks Chamber of Commerce's November luncheon will feature Tulsa County Commissioner Karen Keith on Wednesday, Nov. 16. The Elevate Coworking sponsored event will begin at noon.

Karen has been serving as Tulsa County Commissioner for District 2 since 2008 and is currently serving her fourth four-year term. Active in civic affairs, Keith served in 2013-2014 as the 100th president of the Rotary Club of Tulsa, and as the Governor's appointee to the Oklahoma Historical Society from 2010-2022.

After years of advocating for funds to fix the levee, the federal government allocated $137.4 million to the Army Corps of Engineers to rebuild the antiquated structures. The pre-engineering and design phase is underway and work could begin as early as spring 2023.

Cost to attend is $20 for Chamber members and $30 for non-members.

The registration deadline is Monday, Nov. 14 by 5 p.m.

The Jenks Chamber of Commerce hosts a luncheon on the third Wednesday of each month featuring networking opportunities and a speaker targeting business development, legislative policy, career coaching and other important topics.
