September Monthly Luncheon, featuring Glen Mulready

The Jenks Chamber of Commerce’s Sept. 20 luncheon will feature Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner Glen Mulready.

The noon event is sponsored by Red River Payroll and CommunityCare and will be held at The Hive, located at 115 S. First St. in Jenks.

A former state legislator and longtime insurance professional, Mulready was first elected Oklahoma's 13th insurance commissioner in 2019. Mulready recently ran unopposed in his bid for reelection and started serving a second term in 2023.

His background includes eight years as a state representative. He passed legislation that expanded insurance options and resulted in more insurance companies offering services in the state. 

Seeking to improve the Oklahoma business climate, Glen sponsored the Insurance Business Transfer (IBT) Act, now law and is recognized as one of the most innovative pieces of insurance legislation nationally.

As Commissioner, Glen has brought a business-like, bottom-line approach to budgeting and management of the Insurance Department. He continues to focus on providing a strong and competitive market to give Oklahomans choices when shopping for products to meet their family’s needs.  

Cost to attend is $25 for members and $35 for non-members.
